Review of Tommy Bahama

We visited to ask questions the day before we went, and found out that there’s a kids menu that’s not listed online. Since it’s our 11yo that is celiac, I was excited that the chef reported being confident that there would be no cross contamination for two items: grilled chicken with veggies ($10), and steak medallions with veggies ($15). There’s a kids sundae that can be GF by leaving off the cookie crumbs so it’s vanilla ice cream with Hershey’s chocolate syrup. This place is always super busy, so I was nervous, but we ate there yesterday and he’s fine. It’s a 4 star rating instead of 5 just because the server was a bit rushed and didn’t take the time to reassure us. The adult GF menu isn’t that extensive, but has some good options. Best patio in Palm Desert.
