The fish looked good. Despite explaining I only wanted cod, as I had allergies to a lot of seafood. My fish and chips tasted like halibut. I got a hamburger to go and that was served as ordered and tasted yummy. I ordered a soda water or club soda. I was given a bottled drink with flavorings and sugar in it. They refunded my money for the beverage.

Grilled fish options. Very tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dedicated frier for French fries. Since we ordered at the counter it was easy to discuss options. We would go back!

Love this place! Staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. Fries are cooked in a dedicated fryer and the fish is grilled (no g/f batter). Food was yummy and both of us felt fine after eating there. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

We are here with my 15 year old celiac daughter who loved her food. She was able to have the fries as all the fries are cooked in a dedicated fryer. All of the fish on the menu can be grilled. There is no gluten free batter for the fish but honestly the grilled fish was much better than the battered. The staff was also knowledgeable.

I don’t give full stars because I wish they had a gluten free batter, but oh well, we can’t have it all! I recommend the fish tacos since they’re naturally gluten free, and their fries are in a separate fryer so are celiac friendly.

My 8yr daughter with Celiac, who is also very picky, was so excited to have their grilled salmon and fries! The rest of us enjoyed our meal as well. Short wait for the food, too! We haven’t yet waited to see if she has a reaction but honestly she almost never has any sort of reaction regardless. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and confident.

Knowledgeable friendly staff. There was not a print GF menu, but any fish item available to be made GF (including Fish & Chips). Their GF fish is grilled instead of fried, but their fries are GF. Highly recommended!

We gave this place a chance and seems celiac safe depending on your order. We had fish tacos and fries. They state the fryer is used only for potatoes and in addition I requested the cook wash their hands before touching the taco fixings. Everything is served on disposable containers, etc. the fries were actually the best we’ve had in awhile.

Great fish taco. Accommodating food sensitivity. Blacked fish taco with slaw. No house sauce or cheese. Fries cooked in a dedicated fryer.

Great fish tacos, and the fries are fried in a dedicated gf fryer. Be warned though, the fish tacos come with cheese on them and the sauce is not dairy free if you care.

The staff is awesome, the restaurant is clean and comfortable, and from the looks of it, the food is delicious. However, it is NOT celiac friendly. They have one GF option, but it’s cooked in the same space as everything else.

The staff was very friendly while answering my questions. They have s separate fryer, so all the fries are GF. The fish tacos were too. I was able to get a burger without the bun. They were super nice about it.

No complaints! It is a limited menu but it served our needs fine. I spoke with a manager prior to ordering. He said the fryer is dedicated to fries only — nothing breaded ever goes in it. The fish tacos were yummy, the grilled fish & chips were good, and ordering a burger without a bun was fine. He told me nothing breaded ever goes on the grill. I forgot to ask if the cooks change their gloves, but the 3 of us with Celiac did not get sick.

This was one of the biggest disappointments ever we had researched and plan to go there while we were visiting Haystack rock for the day I asked the person who prepared the food and they literally looked at me like I had two heads and said there was nothing there that was truly gluten-free and that everything had the possibility of cross-contamination but that they would be happy to grill me a piece of cod. And no dedicated fryer. Yeah no thanks!!! This restaurant is not celiac friendly whatsoever and whoever said that is completely wrong I would never eat here in 1 million years walked right back out. I would give it to the stars but I have to give up one because it’s the only way to leave the review. Ate at Driftwood two doors down and they prepared me an amazing and safe dinner. Dx: severe Celiac for 16 years

Had GF fish tacos. Pretty bland. Cole slaw good, but bland. Husband had cheese burger. Came with ketchup only. All-in-all, won’t go back.

Great spot and very nice people! For GF, you are limited to fish tacos (with grilled fish), or they will grill you a piece of fish, plus they have a separate dedicated GF frier just for fries. Tacos and fries are both delicious.

this place was so wonderful. after trying to find a good gf place where i didn't pay $10 for lettuce, tomatoes and carrots, Toms Fish and Chips was a savior. the staff was SO friendly and very knowledgeable. i got the grilled fish tacos with a side of coleslaw. it was SOO good!

the first time I ate there I had the blackened salmon Caesar salad and a side of fries. It was so good and mouthwatering I raved about it for the next few hours. I am really sensitive and I didn't have a reaction. Only downside was asking for gluten free options.

I had the grilled fish and chips. The fish was perfectly seasoned, was moist and the fries were the right amount of crispy! They have several options which are celiac friendly ranging from fish tacos to lettuce wrapped burgers and salads. Would visit again

Had the grilled salmon (fresh and spiced just right) and chips (dedicated fry fryer). Go when it is not busy if you want grilled fish other than cod. Knowledgeable service.

Great food. Yummy gluten free even fries. Friendly. Only 4 stars because of ambiance. It's a walk up and order then take your number and sit kind of place. A few comfy booths but mostly metal chairs at close tables.

Tom's is a Fish and Chips and Burger place. It is a very friendly and casual restaurant in Canon Beach. Their french fries are cooked in a dedicated fryer. They have several options for gluten free. They will grill fish instead of frying as their fish fryer is not safe. I had the blackened salmon with fries but they will do other fish as well. They also have fish tacos and salads that they will make gluten free. My daughter liked her standard fish and chips as well. We will be back.

The owner explained that several of his family members are gluten sensitive, so he's very understanding. Fish tacos are great. No gluten-free buns for the burgers, which disappointed my son. But the owner offered to make fish n chips using the grilled fish instead of breaded, and my boy loved it.

Excellent fish tacos. Gluten Free! They are very accommodating to both gluten and dairy allergies. They have a dedicated fryer for the French fries too! We ate there two days in a row it was so good.
