Waitress was unsure about which sides were GF so ordered the green beans to be safe. Ordered fish sandwich with GF bun but it came out on a regular bun. The manager did come ask if with was celiac/allergy and I heard her tell the kitchen it needs re-made not just switched to a new plate, but still not thrilled it didn’t come out on a GF bun in the first place. So can’t say I would recommend

Oh my gosh this place is amazing. Okay first of all, know that their kitchen is CLOSED WEDNESDAY. Apps and things are gonna say they’re open bc the bar is open, but note that the kitchen is not. They don’t make food Wednesdays. Okay, now that we’ve settled this, when we walked in on a Wednesday the proprietress informed us that the kitchen wasn’t open, and when we settled at a table to find another dinner establishment she CALLED another establishment she frequented to make sure they had gf food. Gosh she was so sweet. She assured us that their food was good, so we went and it was great. But anyway, we came back Thursday and she remembered us and asked us how it was, gosh she was just so nice. And the food we had was GREAT. I had a pasta bowl with gf penne and it was so good, highly recommend. They have tons of options and the servers are so great, truly a 10/10 establishment.

Lots of great choices on the menu marked as GF. Skip the "gumbo" as it's just a tomato based soup. The grilled flounder, red rice, pulled pork, and build your own potatoes were excellent!

I had the Chicken Caesar salad! I was with a large group and they brought me out a plate of fruit for my appetizer. My gf cheesecake was better that the regular cake my group was served...Our waitress was new but very informative and knowledgeable! If I'm ever in Savannah again I will be back to Tondee's
