There are so many great options for someone with celiac to choose from. The food was delicious and full of flavor. The owner and staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They have a good size menu of gluten free options. I can’t wait to go back and try something new.
Due to my dairy allergy and being Celiac, I had very limited options at this restaurant. However, the owner was very sweet and knowledgeable about what I could and could not eat. I ended up having a salad and did not get sick. My kids, who have no allergies, said the food was really good and the atmosphere was very family-like. I would recommend!
Authentic Italian that was very tasty. Go give them all your business.
I really appreciate they make an effort to serve gf pizza crust for bread as a starter and honestly the effort they make to accommodate us overall.
If you are also a little sensitive to dairy like me, I might suggest taking it easy on cream based items, but they are still good! My husband raved about the marinara sauce.
Great fresh Italian food. Server & owner are knowledgeable about GF needs. They offer GF pasta, sauces, even bread.
We had a wonderful experience. Family owned italian restaurant. Brought out bread with oil which I believe was a gluten free pizza crust but it tasted amazing so we had seconds. Shrimp & scallop Alfredo was very good and so was the cesear salad. Great customer. My daughter is celiac & had zero issues afterwards.
I am new to this whole GF and celiac world. That being said I have been doing research and fact finding before I eat anything or anywhere. This app led me to Toni’s, which we already lived as a family. The staff started explaining their gluten free items are their bread(which is their gluten free pizza crust) and any pasta dish can be subbed with GF noodles except the lasagna and ravioli. The bread was good but I was really impressed with the shrimp and scallop Alfredo with GF noodles. I also got a house salad with Italian dressing and had no reaction. Will definitely be back to this place and want to thank them for being accommodating.
So considerate of gluten intolerance. They can make anything gf and even have bread available. Everything was delicious!
It was our first time eating here. The food was fantastic. The bread is pizza crust, but very good. My husband liked it better than the twisty bread, but he's not really a bread guy. I am and I loved it. Well be back for pizza, for sure. The portions were good and the atmosphere was great.
Very knowledgeable about gluten free and have lots of choices! Can't have lasagna but rest are up for grabs. Gluten free bread is really their pizza crust which makes me want to order pizza. The ravioli is chicken and kale, they can't get cheese right now. The portions are enormous. We can probably eat another 1 or 2 meals from our leftovers.
This is place is one of the most authentic Italian restaurants in KC and can make almost anything gluten free except for lasagna and tortellini. They have gluten free cheese ravioli, bread, pizza and pasta. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and they made it gluten free especially for me. The cook and possibly owner delivered my plates and made sure to announce they were gluten free. They’re working on making gluten free rolls like the regular garlic knots and I can’t wait to try them.
Great place! They have GF ravioli and pasta. They also said they are working on getting GF bread as well. My husband and I will definitely go back.
