Toogie's Table

We went to Toogie's as the lunch stop on our Mint Julep tour. Our tour guide said that we would have a limited menu of chicken spaetzel, turkey sandwich, or cheeseburger and that the company plan on $30-35 per person food cost.

When the group was asked if there were any allergies. Two of us were gluten free. The wait staff informed us that we could have the turkey sandwich with no bread or the smash burger with no bun.

Our food came with no side. The other people in the group received a bag of salt and vinegar chips. We were not offered an alternative even though the full menu had steamed veggies. The rest of the group received a cookie for a dessert. We received nothing. We were told they were trying to figure out something for a dessert for us. But the waiter never returned after stating this.

I found it ridiculous that they would ask if there were any allergies and then were unable to accommodate in any way other than taking things away.
