Such a fun experience! So much of the menu is gluten free that they mark the things that aren’t gluten free, instead. We tried a bunch of different dishes (since each one is quite small). Everything tasted incredible, and no reaction. (06/23)

So much selection for gluten free. Menu tells you what isn’t gluten free instead of what is. Although they can’t guarantee no cross contamination I am very very sensitive to gluten and have never had a reaction. All the food I have tried has been great and would highly recommend!

Been here many times and I’ve only ever had good experiences. Most of the menu is GF - those items that are not are clearly marked. I find staff to be helpful - they can’t guarantee no CC but I told them I was coeliac and they told me they take extra precautions. Food is delicious. Spice levels are clearly marked if that’s not your thing. The cheese fondue is amazing.

Waitress didn’t seem to care much about allergies, everything was brought out in a rush. Menu seems to have lots of GF options but the allergy guide shows most MAY CONTAIN gluten so not very many options for celiacs. Way too spicy!!!

Yummy, normal menu marked (not gf) which is a pleasant change as there are only a few options we can’t have. Delicious food, well presented and very tasty. Pictures are with a red tint due to the lighting. Highly recommended!

Lots of gluten free options. The non gf dishes are marked ‘not gluten free’ on the menu. Amazing to eat fish and prawn tacos again. I’ll definitely go back. I’d also recommend the house red.

Topolabamba is one of my favourite places to get gluten free in Glasgow. There is so much choice and everything I have tried has been delicious. The menus specify “not gluten free” against non gf items and I really like this touch, it shows just how much there is to choose from that they have opted to mark the menu out this way!

Dedicated fryer! Freshly fried chips and taquitos were great. Plenty of clearly marked options on the menu and a helpful, knowledgeable staff.

We waited half an hour to get a table in the far back corner next to a giant table of 10 where there was barely room to sit and my chair was so close to the ground my legs were touching the floor almost to the knees. The waiters couldn’t even get to us really. No one ever came back to even ask us if we wanted something to drink. Waited 20-30 more minutes then finally lost all hope and got up and left. Some places are too trendy for their own good. No idea if the food was good because no one gave half a s—t enough to ever take our order!!!

Went for lunch and had the lunch special (tacos, quesadilla (not GF) and rice or chips). Had the lamb rojo tacos, an open yam burrito substitute (basically a rice beans and roast yam plate with cheese and salsa) and chips). This place was dairy heavy, but they knew their stuff, were super accommodating and the food was delish.

Almost everything on the menu is gluten-free except a couple categories such as burritos. We've eaten here twice and I've had no ill-effects. I'm allergic to wheat and barley, not celiac, just so you know. Food is very good and staff is helpful and friendly.

Fantastic food and service, very clear about what is and isn't gluten-free.

The menu states what is not gf as opposed to what is! Getting fries, spare ribs, crispy fish tacos and lots more is such a novelty! It's great spicy tapas. Save room for dessert too though!
