Amazing pasta! The chicken wasn’t that grate but their rigatoni and vodka sauce are incredible!
This pasta tasted like nothing. There are better places in Chicago for gluten free pasta. Check out any of the Lettuce Entertain You, or HOGSALT restaurants for flavor and safe food. Monteverde is also amazing, but hard to get in to.
I’ve been to Torchio twice now when visiting Chicago and have had an amazing experience both times. I ordered the gluten free rigatoni in vodka sauce and added their spicy sausage— literally the best pasta I have ever had. I was assured by the server that their kitchen would take the proper precautions when handling the food and that the pasta is cooked in a separate pot. Their cocktails are delicious too!

Server was a bit casual and unclear communicating that cross contamination would not be an issue. At one point brought bread to the table as well. With that said, entrees were excellent and had no symptoms after eating. Would come again, minor issues here.
Marked food with red sticker for allergy. Extremely delicious. Way better than store bought gf pasta haha. Would recommend the burrata & the pollo vendure spaghetti. No dedicated fryer but they are willing to substitute fresh burrata for dishes that have fried
Wow! The best pasta I’ve had in Chicago. A must go!!! Talked with the owner who was extremely kind and knowledgeable about celiac and cc. They use separate water and my dish came out with a red sticker on the plate. I got the rigatoni with spicy sausage and felt fine afterwords. Imported pasta from Italy!!
One of my favorite gf Italian spots in Chicago. The staff are so knowledgeable about celiac and cross contact! My favorite is the pesto with chicken.
Genuinely some of the best pasta I have ever had. Rivals the pasta I ate in Italy! The staff was so incredibly kind about making my meal gluten free and showed me all the options, he also made sure the entire staff knew what was and wasn’t GF! Not to mention that was the best gluten free pasta I’ve ever had. Worth going out of your way to go here!
The gluten free pasta was absolutely delicious - probably the best gf pasta I’ve had in the decade since I was diagnosed celiac!
This was absolutely the best Italian restaurant I went to in Chicago. My food came out tagged with a red sticker for gluten free. They don’t make their gf pasta in house but import it from Italy. The chef came out and spoke with me to check to see how our food was as well. Great experience
OMG this is hands down the best Italian place I’ve ever been to. The waiter asked if I was celiac and the chef came out personally himself to let me know how serious they take gluten free food and they tag everything with a sticker to ensure it doesn’t get cross contaminated. Besides being so thoughtful and intentional, the food is AMAZING
Favorite Italian restaurant in Chicago. Offers a variety of GF pasta shapes to go with their amazing sauces. They also have a great flourless chocolate cakes. Great drinks, vibes, service, and owner.
