I’ve been to Torchio twice now when visiting Chicago and have had an amazing experience both times. I ordered the gluten free rigatoni in vodka sauce and added their spicy sausage— literally the best pasta I have ever had. I was assured by the server that their kitchen would take the proper precautions when handling the food and that the pasta is cooked in a separate pot. Their cocktails are delicious too!
Wow! The best pasta I’ve had in Chicago. A must go!!! Talked with the owner who was extremely kind and knowledgeable about celiac and cc. They use separate water and my dish came out with a red sticker on the plate. I got the rigatoni with spicy sausage and felt fine afterwords. Imported pasta from Italy!!
Genuinely some of the best pasta I have ever had. Rivals the pasta I ate in Italy! The staff was so incredibly kind about making my meal gluten free and showed me all the options, he also made sure the entire staff knew what was and wasn’t GF! Not to mention that was the best gluten free pasta I’ve ever had. Worth going out of your way to go here!
This was absolutely the best Italian restaurant I went to in Chicago. My food came out tagged with a red sticker for gluten free. They don’t make their gf pasta in house but import it from Italy. The chef came out and spoke with me to check to see how our food was as well. Great experience
OMG this is hands down the best Italian place I’ve ever been to. The waiter asked if I was celiac and the chef came out personally himself to let me know how serious they take gluten free food and they tag everything with a sticker to ensure it doesn’t get cross contaminated. Besides being so thoughtful and intentional, the food is AMAZING
