We went to this restaurant and I showed them my gluten free card(in Japanese) and they refused to serve us.

Amazing experience! Not a gf menu but the server understood my allergies and confirmed with the chef’s. The food was great! I highly recommend. I had the sausage platter and 3 meat charcuterie board.

Torigen is a yakitori restaurant in the basement of Tokyo station. I checked with the waiter and all of the chicken skewers are gluten-free (grilled only with salt). The skewers were so good, I’d definitely go back.
