I feel extremely safe here. They even verified that staff do not bring in any outside food. There are always new things to try and a few staples that I purchase every time. Even my non-gluten free partner was blown away. He never would have guessed it was gluten free if he wasn't along for the shopping.
Great selection of treats and frozen foods. We tried the cannolis, vanilla raspberry muffins, and M’Oreos and they were all delicious! It was fun to go into a bakery where everything was GF. All the items were also clearly labelled with allergens. Will definitely be going back for more!
Large selection of sweet and savoury treats. Highly recommend the hand pies! The bakery smells fantastic and has inventory of fresh, refrigerated and frozen product. Next time hope to try their onsite cafe softserve in waffle cone or cannolis! Only recommendation keeping from 5 stars is better options for bread and buns - did not find any lighter airy bread products which we are seeing more options for and more bake at home products like croissants!
This review is entirely my opinion and I do know the majority disagrees. I personally think this place could be a lot better. It is totally gluten free which is amazing. But it is way over priced, the bread is NOT good and is very small. The buns do not look like buns at all. The pizza is $22 for a 10”. The pizza rolls are good but $15 for 4. The cupcakes and other sweets are good but you pay a premium for them. I sat today and had the panini. It was barely edible. Greesy and chewy. I wish they would look around at other places and improve a few things
Love their food so much! So happy to have good gluten free freshly baked food!
Driving from Montana to Alaska I was very excited to find this bakery, they have a Huge variety of choices! I ended up getting the strawberry cheesecake cannoli and a loaf of cheese bread. The cannoli was absolutely amazing, I wish there was a way to get it in Alaska. The owner was very friendly and helpful, I highly recommend stopping in and getting some awesome goodies. Another helpful detail was the complete ingredient list on every single one of their products.
So many options for frozen lunches, and pizzas. The hamburger buns are awesome and great price. I stopped in for lunch one day (lacombe is so limited for lunch for celiac's) and they were making chicken ranch panini's fresh of the grill. So good! These are now a regular make in my house using the pizza shells with all kinds of variations. Even my 8year loves them. So many options for sweets from waffle treats to a cinnamon bun pie and muffins. Any celiac driving through lacombe needs to stop and try something!! Earlier in the day, the better the selection.
I love every thing about it and the breads r great for freezing then thawing them back out and I also had my birthday cake made there and it's amazing. The lady that owns the place has 6 or 7 children and most are celiac so she knows the best
bread is an odd moist chewy texture, but flavour is great.
