I've eaten there a few times because they have a dedicated fryer and work space. The food is good but a little pricey. Tonight I found a gluten-y onion straw in my gluten-free sweet potato fries and now I'm questioning my entire meal. I've never gotten sick there before and I am extremely sensitive....wish me luck for the rest of my night
Good food and knowledgeable staff. They have a separate GF prep area and dedicated fryer. I got sweet potato fries! Burger was good. Their GF bun is probably udi's. It got crumbly but held up well enough. The burger was hearty and delicious.
I’ve been going at least once a month, their nachos and patty melt with a gluten free bun is to die for. I have not been glutened here, their safe!
A great burger restaurant! They have gluten free buns so you can choose most of their burgers other than the ones that for sure have gluten (like the mac n cheese burger). They also had a dedicated fryer so you could eat the tater tots, fries, and homemade chips. They also have a gluten free chocolate torte for dessert! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable on what was or wasn’t gluten free.
Read a ton of positive reviews ahead of going so I felt pretty confident about their protocols. Told them about my gluten allergy and they gave me a rundown of the menu—gluten free fryer, gluten free buns, gluten free wings, lots of ciders!
Right after I annihilated my food, I told myself I’d hop on here and leave a review since I found others’ so helpful ahead of checking this spot out. Hands-down, the best gluten free burger experience I’ve ever had, and can confidently say the best in the Triangle. The bun almost looked better than the non-gf bun, and it didn’t crumble and fall apart like most of them do. The food itself is just so damn good. I wouldn’t call these your typical “craft burgers” (and I mean that in a good way). They’re stacked, juicy, saucy (if you like that), and the crispy fries were just a bonus.
Staff it’s always very helpful, they answer all questions with out getting annoyed ... and great selection of drinks
My son was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease, so eating out has become very stressful. We were delighted to see other great reviews of Town Hall Burger & Brew, and this was a favorite place pre-diagnosis. We were relieved to find out that they have a dedicated fryer for their fries, and also had gluten-free buns. Our meal was delicious, and we felt very safe eating there with our son. So glad that a long-time favorite can remain on our “safe” list.
Awesome food and our GF eater gave their GF bun a rave review. Highky recommend!
GF burger buns are available and lots of chicken, burger, and veggie patties options are available GF style. Overall, its pretty good and you could do a lot worse trying to get something to eat in the South Square mall area.
