TJ has very few GF items. If you go, stick to the fresh foods and dairy. Forget the frozen section.

Look at ingredients carefully!
This is my favorite “Gluten Free” grocery store. Their GF muffins, breads, and noodles are the best in my opinion. They have chocolate muffins that taste the closest to regular chocolate cake that I have found.

There are some options for gluten free breads and pasta but the selection is limited. The prepackaged meals do have some good options that are gluten free but double check the label.

I was so pleased to read about the “Gluten Free Everything Bagels” in a blog. She praised them saying how delicious they are. So I went to Trader Joe’s and snatched a bag of the bagels under the store brand name. Once I got settled upon my return I anxiously made a sandwich. There was no disappointment and I am soooo excited that I can have a bagel again that tastes sooo good! With other brands of GF breads I always think, “this is better than no bread”. Not this time! The everything bagel is delicious and it toasted very well. As far as other products they have GF items throughout the store. Including GF chocolate muffins. I didn’t get them because they looked so good I figured I’d eat all 4 at once. This was my first visit since my doc gave me the no GF orders and I was very, very pleased!!
