Had the bbq pork sandwich with the GF bun, which was really good but I didn’t eat much of it since I get nervous in places that don’t have a dedicated kitchen. They were very accommodating of non-dairy as well, and substituted a green salad at no charge since both the potato salad and coleslaw have dairy. The menu is labeled with GF options or items that can be easily modified.
I am gluten sensitive and I love the seafood cobb salad with a gluten free roll. I order that every time I go to Train Wreck. My son has celiac disease and I don't feel comfortable ordering food for him. The waitress said there is risk for cross-contamination so we haven't taken the chance.
The staff was friendly and helpful with the gluten free options. The gluten free burger buns are made in house and are better than store bought. I didn't get sick. The food didn't feel heavy in my stomach and was delicious. None of their sides are gluten free though. Having a burger with a salad is not my first choice. Sides are so easy to make gluten free.
Best restaurant in the valley! GF items are clearly marked on the menu. GF bread is made in house, and is fantastic; my husband actually prefers the GF buns to the gluten-filled ones!
Great gluten free buns and menu choices. This place is a must-go. Highly recommended.
Train wreck is awesome! They make their own gf buns for the burgers. They were so good I had to double check to make sure it was gf! They do not have a dedicated fryer :( but in addition to burgers they have awesome tacos on gf corn tortillas and the salads look amazing too.
