And for my international gluten free fellows:
When we asked if there was anything gluten-free here, we received a friendly “yes of course!” -this promise was also kept.
The food was very tasty and there was a lot to choose from. I felt safe and had no discomfort after eating. I asked if it was suitable for celiac disease & if contamination was taken into account and this was confirmed. Since I didn't ask in detail about the entire preparation process, I obviously can't give Safety 5 stars because I can't answer this aspect 100% - although I had the impression that a lot of attention was paid to it and the staff (like in many places in Italy) was well versed in the subject. I can highly recommend the restaurant :)
My partner was sick so couldn’t eat out, so I went here and asked for a pizza to go and they were more than happy to offer this! Didn’t charge extra for gf base which I loved and overall tasted good for the price. Bit light on toppings but again I was just happy that I could take it away!
Kinda disappoint. Took probably over an hour to get our pizzas and they did not taste that well. They are kinda cheap with the pizza toppings, I got like 4 pieces of salami. I ate a caprese salad as a starter and it was alright. The tomatoes tasted like they were picked on the other side of the world and stored for 3 months (what I am trying to say is that they didn’t taste anything even tough they should have been possible to source locally and been in season). However, the mozzarella was really good and carried the dish. Overall I would say that their is probably better places to visit in Venice but as you might have figured out yourself everything in Venice is expensive and not especially genuine
I was duped by a google review matched with the wrong picture and thought I was getting pizza with a fluffy crust. I ordered a “Margherita” pizza which was basically a cheese pizza with a sprig of basil on it. It was tasty, but just a plain, thin crust pizza that seemed to have shredded mozzarella as opposed to slices of fresh mozzarella with tomatoes and multiple leaves of basil. Maybe I would have been more pleased had I ordered something else. The decor inside is nice.
We had a delicious meal here. The gluten free pizza was very very good. It was one of the best that I have had here in Italy. They used bufala mozzarella on my pizza and I was able to tolerate the cheese also(lactose intolerant) Highly recommend it, the entire menu looked delicious. We only had the pizza and an appetizer. The ambiance was nice as well.
Wait staff shared that all pizza and pastas can be made gluten free with gluten free spaghetti noodles. Bruschetta and bread options are unavailable. We ordered the prosciutto and melon, vegetable risotto, and spaghetti bolognese. Delicious!! Staff was very knowledgeable about what could be made vegan or dairy free as well.
We stopped in for dinner after seeing they had delicious gluten free pizza, but unfortunately they don’t serve pizza at dinner (we could have misunderstood the waiter but I believe he said no pizza at dinner). That said, I ordered the gluten free pesto pasta and it was delicious. In addition to gf pasta, they had a lot of other naturally gluten free dishes like fish. I did ask the waiter what was gluten free, the menu wasn’t labeled.
Gluten free pizza was meh at best, flat crust typical of store bought gluten free pizza crusts. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara gluten free and only after eating a little and double checking with my waiter did I find out they brought me the wrong one. The guy who took my order and the guy who brought us our food were different, so I guess the gluten free part wasn’t communicated. Overall nothing special and a little disappointing given the 5 star reviews
Booked this place based on reviews here and TripAdvisor. It's quite a smart restaurant with a good menu of pasta, pizza and meat and fish dishes. No separate GF menu but staff seemed knowledge and offered GF pasta, pizza and also suggested the risotto. No separate menu though. My son and I had standard pizzas, my daughter carbonara and my husband went for a GF pizza. Came out and looked slightly different (which for some reason is always oddly reasurring!) but it was a decent size and he thoroughly enjoyed it. No ill effects afterwards either! .
