Food was really good here. Not a lot of gluten free options, but any pasta dish could be made gluten free (just replaced with penne). Got the crab pasta, which was still good despite not being their homemade pasta. Lots of dishes that are gluten free already, like baked or grilled fish. Octopus and potato salad was excellent and so was their mixed salad. Not sure about separate preparation in the kitchen, so not sure how safe for a celiac, but if you’ve got an allergy it was really good.

Was great to find a place in Manarola that had a gluten free option (pasta). The pasta itself wasn’t that great, but hey it was good to be able to sit down a restaurant and eat a proper meal.

Nice meal overlooking town. Most items gluten free and all pastas could be made with gf pasta. I had grilled fish and potatoes which was nice. Tuna tartare starter came out with bread,despite requesting gf. I had to ask the waiter if it was gluten free and he apologised and said no. He said not to eat it but did not replace the meal which made me question their knowledge of coeliac disease.

Overall, I had a nice experience. The servers were knowledgeable about my GF needs and ensured that the food provided let that criteria. They can make any pasta dish gluten free, although that’s about it for their alternatives, aside from the foods that are inherently gluten free.

The baked fish and potatoes, and the seared tuna were the best meals we’ve had on this trip. They seemed to be very aware of importance of the meals not being contaminated with gluten, and I didn’t have a reaction after. The panna cotta dessert was also good.
