L'Incontro is accommodating, even for Dairy-free Celiacs. We meet local family there for meals and talk for hours without being rushed. Like the other reviewer, I mention my needs when I walk in and/or am greeted by the manager/owner, so any language barrier with waitstaff isn't a problem.

Manager and owner were knowledgeable about GF and cross contamination. I would ask to speak with one of them when ordering. When I placed my order for gf pasta the owner came out of the kitchen to speak to me. One of the best Italian restaurants in New York! I had been avoiding going since going GF since it's pretty traditional but was pleasantly surprised.
