Review of Trattoria Pizzeria Da Gherardo Lucca

My husband and I went there for lunch. I am a sensitive celiac and I was optimistic about their gf pizza. They assured me everything was separately prepared. I always feel nervous at Italian or pizza places due to the big potential for cross contamination and flour around. Our pizza arrived and I used my Nima to test the bottom of the crust. It came back with “gluten detected”. Needless to say, my non celiac husband ate that pizza and I did not. I was hoping to be able to eat it, but I am super glad I tested it first.
