The gf chicken and waffles were excellent! They also had gf apple fritters, muffins and pasta salad when we were there, and you can get gf breakfast Mac n cheese as well as sandwiches and burgers. They have a separate waffle iron and fryer and we felt confident that they were celiac safe. It was worth the brief detour off I79!

Travelers cafe is the best restaurant I have EVER been to. The waitress informed me of their personal concern and connection for gluten free options. They have a separate fryer, waffle iron, cutting board; and use pans on the stove instead of the flat top to make your eggs, hash browns, etc if needed. Our waitress was very educated and thorough with questions as for what I needed as a customer ❤ they have GF toast, buckwheat and banana waffles, burger buns, all burgers are made without bread crumbs, bagels, fries in GF fryer only, GF chicken breading for chicken and waffles, GF plain and spinach wraps, etc. and GF options are always in their fresh made bakery case. In all my travels I have never seen a place like this. And, I have to add that the food isn’t crumbly and dry like most GF options. You can tell they took a lot of time in selection and creation of the menu items.

A hidden gem for those of us with Celiac's. So many gluten free options and even have a few gluten free baked goods. When I asked if they had a dedicated fryer they told me they have a dedicated fryer, waffle maker, cutting board, toaster and such. It was evident that the facility has the personal experience of a family member. I loved everything I had for breakfast so much that went back for lunch. ♥

The Traveler’s Cafe has great GF options! Bagels for breakfast sandwiches, wraps, various daily GF baked goods, pastas, even chicken and waffles! Wonderful coffee as well!
