Celiac safe! The head chef, Austin Simmons, eats a gluten free diet and knows exactly what he’s doing. Make a reservation because this is a very popular restaurant. And if possible request Megan as your server. She has extensive knowledge about cross contamination, allergen food preparation, safe menu items (including cocktails), menu substitutions, and will make sure your needs are clearly communicated to the kitchen staff. My husband and I have eaten at Tris multiple times each month for the past seven years and in all that time there have been only two problems with cross contamination. Both occasions were private dinners with guest chefs who were not as well versed on gluten free dietary & cooking requirements. Both times Tris reimbursed me and reached out following the event. I am so grateful to have a consistently safe place to enjoy a celebratory meal, date night, or even just a casual happy hour.
