Lovely restaurant! Owners are so nice and accommodating. Most all is gluten free. They are working on a GF empanada option but not yet. The food is so flavorful and homemade. And very reasonably priced. Way better than chipotle!

I was looking for a new lunch place in my area, when i stumbled upon Tropical Bay. They have a tasty collection of Latin foods that are a majority Gluten Free. The owner was nice enough to point out the items that weren’t gluten free. The prep are was clean, and i didn’t get sick. I got the Mofungo with Deep Fried pork. This was a pleasant surprise and I will be dining there again.

Pretty much everything is gluten free and labeled. All the sauces are GF also. Food was delicious and staff was very nice and patient while we asked a bunch of questions. Will definitely be back.

Great first time experience. The owners are on site- and also the chefs/cooks. Very knowledgeable and graciously shared samples to beat make my decision. Very generous portions. I had a small bowl with ample portion size. My husband had a large bowl with leftovers. Great family - share this location to help their business succeed! (OH Liquor license pending - will be making homemade Mojitos and Sangrias with fresh fruits) only gluten containing item is empanada - not made I house

I’m so happy this place is down the street from my house. The food is amazing, ever since they opened I eat here at least once a week. I love how everything is gluten free except the empanadas.

Only one item at the restaurant is not gluten free (empanadas - and that is also the only menu item that is not made in house, so less opportunity for cross contamination), all of the other items are made in house and are gluten free. They have a Chipotle style setup where you can choose exactly what goes into your bowl, so it is great option for picky eaters / those with other allergies. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the food ingredients. Everything we had there was great!
