I love eating here have for 5 years and have never had an issue with cross contamination.
I ate at the one on Pelham. Very good. Food and sauces gluten free. Just order no pita and tell them you have an allergy. Staff is Knowledgable about allergies. I ordered my bowl with no pita bread and the person behind the counter accidentally placed a slice on top. She realized her mistake immediately. She threw the whole thing out and remade it without me even asking.
Be careful here if you have a gluten allergy. Kitchen is not careful about cross contamination. We walked out when we saw one of the chefs cutting pitas and meat with the same knife.
Cuban Food! Naturally Gluten Free. The only gluten there is bread and pitas. You can eat everything else. Great meat/rice/beans platters. baked plantains, daily special dishes
