Review of Trout River Grille

This is a restaurant in the back of the Jacksonville zoo. They have a dedicated fryer now for french fries. They have a menu, see picture, with a couple of items marked gluten-free, including the (plain, salted) french fries, pimento cheese fries, Asian crunch bowl, falafel, and grilled chicken including grill tenders for kids. You could also ask for a burger without a bun. I asked a couple of ways because I had a hard time believing they are using separate fryers and was told the fryer for breaded items and the one for the fries are physically separate. Still, it’s GOOD to make them aware after you put your order in on the kiosk that you need them to change gloves before grabbing your fries from the hopper and putting them on your plate, and we got just plain fries, nothing on them.
