Tru North Cafe

Decided to go here on the basis of recommendations on FMGF and the menu looked great. However, when I asked about GF options the owner pointed to the board that listed the items that could be made with their GF bread, but then asked if I was Celiac. I said yes, and he said I'm sorry, we can't provide anything for you. He was very polite, but essentially refused to serve me. Would have loved to try their popular avocado toast, but alas I never will. If you are Celiac, give this one a miss.

A great cafe! The owner is wonderfully kind and they have gluten free bread for any of the dishes that require it. Great coffee options too! Try to avocado toast, it’s excellent.

I love this cafe for coffee, and the vibe and owner is amazing. Wouldn’t go out of my way to eat as a celiac, though. After feeling weird after eating bacon I think it had bourbon. Go for coffee!

This is truly a gem and they offer gluten free options. The food was amazing and the service was also really top notch!
