I have never gotten sick here, but you must be EXTREMELY clear with your server that you have an allergy if you have one. I cannot stress that enough. I have eaten here probably hundreds of times (I am Celiac) and always have to have the conversation with them, but the food is so so so worth it. Red Red Black Eyed Peas is the BEST gf option, and I'd eat it every day if I could. Chickpea Panisse is a delicious starter, and the remoulade is Gf. Be careful with other dishes and sauces without having a conversation. Cocktails are great. There isn't always a lot of gluten free items on the dish, and sometimes with themed menu weeks or specials they can get confused. But the staff really tries—I once ordered a special on Grubhub that was marked GF and I added comments on the order that I had celiac. Low and behold a server called me and said it was not actually gluten free, but rather "gluten lite" (flour in a gravy sauce), and provided a suggestion. So they really are doing their best (and are very kind), as long as you are communicative. This is an upscale and trendy place, so while you cannot expect them to read your mind about an allergy, if you let them know you have one they will do a fabulous job making sure you are cared for.
