I avoid both gluten and dairy.
When we walked in, my in-laws, who have high standards, were pleased with the ambiance and decor.
Gluten free items are clearly marked, as are vegetarian and one (possibly two?) vegan option options. Primarily, though, there’s a lot of meat on the menu.
And they do it well.
I spoke with my server about my options, and I could see her mentally reviewing all the ingredients for the dish I requested (filet mignon). She suggested a substitute for the risotto to help me avoid dairy, and other than that I was good to go.
I believe they had one or two gluten free dessert items on the menu, but contained dairy, so I had a fruit bowl instead, and it was fresh and lovely.
I had no reactions.
I will happily return to True Kitchen the next time I’m in town.
