What a gem! Don’t be fooled by the name, it is a lot more than a cafe. No, they do not have a gluten-free menu. However, they have a knowledgeable wait staff and cooking staff. They also have both gluten free bread and pasta and a willingness to prep your gluten free order separately from the gluten containing versions. Therefore, there are lots of gluten free options and the food was delicious. I had a house salad that was very fresh and an entree of cod with a Parmesan sauce and pesto and sides of mashed potatoes and green beans. It is a bit on the expensive side but I will be going back. Next time I may skip the salad and go for a dessert of homemade gluten free chocolate brownie with ice cream and homemade chocolate sauce.

Truffles has always been good about allergies, so I decided to try it out now that I’m celiac. No gluten free menu that I’m aware of but the server was very knowledgeable. I asked if a particular salad was safe, and she explained they could modify it and use unmarinated chicken and cook it in a separate pan. The food was good and no issues afterwards.
