Menu not marked but counter staff helped navigate choices. She asked chef if enchiladas suizas was gf and he said yes. While we were ringing up, the owner called the store and she double checked with him. Very tasty and big portions. We also had the apple pie and it was good. (Hubs had beef tacos on flour torts so I couldn’t try but he said they were very flavorful! He really enjoyed them!)
I explained to the server that I had celiac disease, and she seemed confused and didn't know what gluten was or what had gluten. I was very nervous about this, but she went to ask the kitchen and I believe either a manager or owner came out to shout what is and isn't gluten free, and pretty much said that anything could be made gluten free. I asked about cross contact and they stated they take celiac disease seriously and take cross contact seriously as well. The higher-up reassured me and my wife. When the food came out it was delicious, and quite filling, but we asked about GF desserts and to our surprise there was an unbelievable amount of GF options! Cakes and treats galore. We ordered more desert than dinner and it was incredible. I am highly reactive and I had zero reaction from this establishment. Excellent. Will be returning, just hope they have educated their staff on gluten too.
Great knowledge of gluten free, and recipes. Marked dishes from order to protect against gluten. Understood difference between Gluten Intolerance and celiac. Ordered burger with GF buns, and beef tacos. Can't beat the flavor or care!
Saw the reviews on my trip to town so paid it a visit and after going here I'm really confused as to how it has so many stars. My waitress did not seem very knowledgeable and did not put my food anxiety at ease. The "gluten free menu" is a single item that says it's gluten free as well as a dessert menu. The place makes pizza, burgers, enchiladas, salads, etc and I'm was not confident I wouldn't get cross contaminated even if the one plate was actually gluten free. Needless to say, I sat and drank water for dinner while my friends ate their dinners. Not fun.
The best! So many delicious options. The mole sauce was incredible. SO good. Wish we lived closer... we would be there often. Servers very knowledgable. Two family members with celiac had a great meal.
We were hoping for gf fries, but they don't have a dedicated fryer (and didn't know that term, but confirmed they cook other non gf items in it, including tortilla chips). We ordered a burger with a non-toasted gf bun, because we weren't clear on how they were toasted. I'd say give it a try, but be careful and ask lots of questions (you know, the usual!).
Server Heather had great understanding of cross contamination and clearly identified unsafe items (almost everything is celiac safe!)
Amazing food, a variety of gluten-free desserts that aren't ice cream, and their lemon custard cake is as close as I have ever found to actual cake. They also have a daily Gluten free pie with crisp (not hard or chewy) crust.
I had the gluten free waffle with bacon and fresh fruit and it was to die for! I don't think there's a dedicated area but I didn't get sick and I'm very sensitive. Reasonably priced and quick and friendly service.
Really excellent food from burgers to enchiladas to fresh fish. And most are gluten free.
So many yummy gf options, and a dedicated gf section of the desert menu. Gf cakes, pies, ice cream brownie Sunday, etc.SO GOOD!
