GF dedicated. Polite staff, lots of delicious selection. Bread was so good, fresh, soft inside with lots of flavour .we bought chocolate chip cookies, 2 x mutigrain bread, 1 cinnamon bread, wish we bought more

Oh my goodness, this place is incredible: it makes being celiac in this area bearable. Breads, desserts, (some) prepared meals. They do different breads on different days: take a look at their website to see what's fresh on what day of the week (www.turtledoves.ca/breads). The jalapeno cheddar bread is a must-try: the peppers keep moisture in the bread in a way that nothing else without gluten (that I've tried) compares. Stays fresh on the counter about three days and freezes well. I get their pre-made pie crusts regularly; if you want to get pies at holiday seasons, you need to pre-order, as demand is very high. The twice-baked brownies are delectable, the cupcakes (especially lemon!) are very good and the CZR muffins (cranberry-zucchini-raisin...I was skeptical) are amazing. They do GF Jamaican-style beef patties, mini quiches, pot pies and lasagna; I try to keep a couple in my freezer for quick meals when needed.

Turtledoves is a dedicated GF bakery, lots of lovely choices here. We often pick up their Jamaican patties (delicious and make a good packed lunch for school or work), their individual pies (we enjoy the chicken & vegetable, the lamb, and the beef & carrot especially), their sausage rolls (also good for packed school/work lunches or a quick protein-filled brekkie).... Their bread is delicious too - we like their onion & cheese buns and their various loaves. And the treats...oh my...we have enjoyed so many of their treats! Particular favourites in our family are the chocolate tarts, raspberry squares, lemon squares, lemon meringue tarts, s'mores tarts, Nanaimo bars, and alllll the cookies.... Service is always friendly and kind. Only drawback is their 4-day week - sometimes we wish we could pop in for something and realize they're not open (closed Sunday-Tuesday).

The raspberry squares and the cheesecake are great! You can choose toppings for the cheesecake (strawberry rhubarb was delicious)

Great cheese cake and Baguette! Even the gluten eaters loved the cheese cake:)

Handcrafted baked goods to die for. The bread and buns taste heavenly. All the sweet things (and there are plenty to choose from) taste like home made - none of that weird aftertaste that makes store bought cookies taste the same. On top of that the customer service is super nice. Seven stars out of five!

The best gluten free bakery around! The food tastes so good you wouldn’t know it is gluten free. My favourites are the Jamaican meat patties and date squares.

Everything I’ve tried here is delicious! So far I would highly recommend the sausage rolls, quiche, Jamaican patties, key lime pie, lemon squares and Nanaimo bars.

I love the buns. They are the best around. The treats are great but some are just too sweet. I think it is the agave syrup? I wish they made butter tarts with regular sugar. I'm here for the GF not the natural sweetener.

Consistantly delicious every time

First visit and it was excellent. Gentleman happily answered all my questions and even let me try a mini roll before purchasing. Bread and buns are excellent. Especially the cheese and onion ones! The cherry brownie was fantastic.
