Separate GF menu with lots of options. Server was knowledgable and made a note for the kitchen about Celiac. The bummer was that the potatoes are cooked in the shared fryer space, which means some other options are likely limited as well. The food I ordered was mediocre and & somehow my stomach still felt upset afterward too.
This is one of the two places in Clark County that my celiac wife feels safe eating at. Kitchen and staff take it seriously and the food has always been great. Wonderful location on the riverfront.
Separate gluten-free menu, large happy hour selection, staff was knowledgeable about restriction. Unsure of separate fryer. Tasty options, right on the waterfront.
They have a GF menu. Our server was great and everything gf came out flagged. The Kailua pork tacos appetizer was amazing! My date has never been with someone gf so it’s all a learning curve for him and he was amazed at how good everything was. I had a cheesy bacon/ fondue cheese burger on a gf bun as well and it was delish I would have asked for more of the “jam” because the sweet with the cheese was awesome! Highly recommend and the view didn’t hurt!
I’ve been here a few times, the staff has always been friendly and helpful! They have an all gluten free menu, and their gluten free buns come out with a gluten free tooth pick in the top, so you know it’s safe! Is obviously not a dedicated kitchen, but I have celiac and I’m fairly sensitive and I’ve never had a problem! Compared to many other restaurants that care about GF” this Twigs location is awesome :)
For some reason my review for here keeps disappearing. I went a few months after they opened and had a pulled pork sandwich. It was $20 and so tiny. Came with no sides or even a slaw. I had no issues. The second time I went I got the tacos on a corn tortilla and it made me very very sick. They throw flour for pizza and flour tortillas which they said they didn't do the first time I went there. Not sure if they started making more food from scratch between the two times I went but I wont be returning.
I read the reviews on here before going to Twigs fully aware I might just be getting wine. I was pleasantly surprised when the bartender was VERY knowledgeable about what was actually fully no gluten contact on the so called gluten free menu, so yes it can be deceiving and I’m glad I asked lots of questions. I ordered the filet with mashed potatoes and veggies and had no reaction! I do have to say the taste wasn’t worth the price point, but I’m happy to know the kitchen was able to make me something that didn’t cause severe physical pain and distress.
They have a gluten free menu and our server was very respectful when I told him that I have celiac disease. I ordered a salad which I know maybe considered cheating but I felt fine during and afterwards and after our meal the server asked me if I was feeling fine from the meal
I was told that the fries were gluten free by 2 different servers, then after I ate them they came out to tell me that they were in fact not gluten free. BE CAREFUL!!! Staff is not knowledgeable.
The staff is great! There are actually a bunch of gf choices- pasta, pizza, sandwiches, appetizers! The crab dip is amazing and comes with gf bread! They take gf seriously here. Have eaten here 4 times now and haven’t had any reaction at all! It’s a new location so it’s busy, I’d recommend making reservations.
We've been here several teams with our Celiac daughters and zero issues. Food is absolutely delicious including their pizzas, new chicken sandwich, burgers and steak - all fantastic! Seems like they really load up the toppings on GF pizzas and their new Sausage and hot honey pizza was my favorite so far. Love the Twigs chain as it's always been a safe place when we're out!
Easy meal in Spokane. My husband and I ordered the roasted beet and pear salad with grilled chicken and the fish tacos with a pecan Caesar. Both plates came out with little gluten-free markers in them. I’m rating this five stars, though I don’t think it’s a super incredible meal. (It’s new American food in the mall.) But it was tasty enough, Celiac-safe, open on a Sunday evening and what we were looking for in the moment!
