I used to go here all the time before being gluten free. I seen a review about the French toast and was very excited to try. When going there the waitress Penny gave an attitude when I asked about gluten options and said they only have bread. I asked if they could make it French toast and she left to ask the kitchen with an attitude and came back 30mins later.. she confirmed they can do it and I did a grilled cheese and French toast as GF bread isn’t very filling. I nicely informed Penny that my condition is severe and I cannot have contamination and asked if it could be cooked separately and she responded “it’s just a grill..” and I then asked if they can use a separate pan and she just said she’ll see what they can do she clearly seemed annoyed and made me uncomfortable. I already feel bad asking as I’m new to being Gluten free. This is not a restaurant problem, I will probably go back. I just wish she was more educated or willing to learn or at least had a smile.
