Three in our family of four are celiac. We found friendly and helpful staff who were patient with us first-time customers with questions about their GF breads and the enormous and comical menu. The sandwiches and salad all had good quality ingredients, and none of us had any cross-contamination symptoms afterward. The building decor is basically utilitarian industrial, but contains a variety of interesting artwork, including portraits of all the menu's characters and actors.
Great environment, knowledgeable staff, amazing sandwiches. Highly recommended!
No problems at all. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Great sandwiches. They usually have a few different gluten free bread options. The staff is friendly and GF knowledgeable.
The bread was ok- kinda hard to eat the entire bun. But they were very friendly.
Awesome!!!! Very friendly. They took the time to clean all areas before preparing our food. Bread was excellent!
I was kind of disappointed that I couldn't have a grilled sandwich, but their bread is one of the best I've tasted!
Two Beards Deli is awesome!! The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They prepared everything in a separate area and made sure not to grill the sandwich since it is a shared grill. The sandwich was incredible! I got mine on the gf sub bread and it pretty decent! Not too dry and it had a great flavor. I'm definitely going back!
Knowledgable staff. The bread was so so.
I was so excited to have the option of many sandwiches on gluten free bread, however when the sandwich was delivered to my table the bread was already cracking apart. As I picked it up it disintegrated into bread crumbs. It was very challenging to try to eat. With the advances in gluten free bread in recent years this dry crumbly bread was disappointing and not necessary.
Extensive menu of sandwiches. Two different gf bread options - white and sourdough. Most sandwiches can be made dairy free as well. Staff seemed knowledgeable about how to prepare food safely and which ingredients to stay away from if you were asking for dairy free accommodations.
What a great find! First sandwich I've been able to have in a restaurant since going GF earlier this year. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and also checked ingredients for my allergy issues. Was able to build a yummy sandwich with "safe" ingredients.
Very friendly and lots of options. However the gf sourdough was extremely dry and crumbly. The sand which was delicious besides the bread!
There were alot of options available and two types of gf bread. very good.
We aren't from the area but OH I WISH WE WERE! Just so I could have the opportunity to get through their amazing list of sandwiches. Fast service, delicious food and a very friendly staff.
Love the gluten free sourdough
Huge selection of sandwich creations (over 70?) that include roasted meats, cheeses, spreads, soups, etc. Vegan and vegetarian menu, too! Three gluten free bread choices on this trip, and other breads, too. Our party of four (3 gfree, 1 not) spent $36 for 4 huge sandwiches, a small bag of chips, and one drink. The 'small' sandwich portions are generous. Everything was delicious, fresh, and the people very friendly and kind. None of us gfree people got sick at the three hour mark after eating. Highly recommend!
In town on business, ate lunch here both times. It was better on a hot sandwich, if ordering a cold Sammy I'd recommend toasting the bread. Now I'm not in town and was wishing I could go back! Extensive menu!
This is the same owners as Cherry Deli and same options but with different sandwich names. They usually have a couple types of gluten-free bread from local gf bakery Charlotte's--excellent bread. A lot of their sandwiches are a little too packed full for the bread to hold up; it's best if they can wipe the grill and heat the bread a little, but you still might need a fork. They also have some gf soups.
Love this place!! Delicious, friendly, and sooooo many choices! If grilled they do their best to scrape before cooking but it is at your own risk of contamination, if not grilled seems perfectly safe. I am celiac and I have never had an issue.
Tried the breakfast. Just had the French Fork on sourdough gluten free bread....WOW. They took care in cooking it and it was delicious. Mine was the same size as my husbands (usually gf bread is half the size). It was the size of two sandwiches. Made with a hugh sausage patty, bacon, cheddar, red potatos bread is french toasted and syrup on the side. Third time here (1st for breakfast) and no problems. My husband rarely comments on restautrants (food is food), but actually used excelent to describe the food here.
Spouse states, "Best sandwich ever, including when I wasn't GF."
Brand new sandwich shop in downtown GR with a massive menu. Breakfast, lunch and catering. Multiple (!!!) gluten free bread choices-really unique and delicious sandwiches.
