Review of Two Black Dogs Country Pub

Limited GF menu, but from what the waitress told me; the owner's wife (?) is celiac... So maybe more to come..? I definitely felt like an outsider when I first sat down. The place was empty except for a few regulars. It took a few minutes for me to be acknowledged, then I had to ask for a gluten free menu. A few items weren't available, and some of the entrees sounded too good to be true. (They don't have gluten free croutons for the Caesar salad... Even though it's listed on the GF menu with croutons) definitely ask questions. The salad I ordered came with the glazed pecans on the side in a cup because the chef hadn't verified if the "new" brand they got in was safe. Overall, the food I ordered was delicious, inexpensive, and I had no contamination issues... They even have Strongbow Cider in a bottle! The staff (and the regulars) were very friendly, and I applaud their efforts. I will definitely go back.
