Great Barbecue! We arrived early and the line was already out the door. Delicious smoke wafted through the room as we waited in line. As soon as I told the young lady about my celiac, she changed gloves, cutting board and utensils and let me know what sides were GF. Most were. Had a yummy meal. Highly recommend.

WOW, was passing through on a trip to the canyon and this place was incredible! I told them I was gluten free and they immediately asked if I was celiac and offered to grab a new piece of brisket and change their gloves. They also mentioned that all the sides except the chili and beans are gluten free. And your non gluten free friends will love it too! Highly recommend!

Came to Tyler’s on a Saturday during the lunch rush. I started to give my spiel about having celiac disease and needing gluten free food, and they immediately nodded their head and started to change gloves before I could even finish. Super impressed with their protocols! I got brisket with jalapeño cream corn and green beans. They got a fresh brisket and cut it on a separate cutting board away from the normal prep area. They were informed and courteous!

Super disappointed. I thought this place was going to be safe for someone with celiac. When we arrived, the man who was carving all the meats told me that at this point, every single one of the meats had already touched or come into contact with some type of bread at that point. It was not even close to closing time. He said he wouldn’t recommend eating anything except the sides. I don’t understand how a place with family members with celiac run a business like that were their meats are constantly in contact with bread. Such a bummer, was really looking forward to trying it.

Tyler’s address needs to be updated on this site! My husband and I are visiting Amarillo for the first time and after reading the great reviews about Tyler’s we decided to get take-out from there tonight. We really appreciated how carefully our order was prepared. At their new location - 3301 Olsen Blvd. - they have a separate area to pack the gluten free orders. And of course, gloves are changed and separate serving utensils are used. They really go above and beyond and we felt very safe getting food here. As far as our meal, it was delicious! We both had the brisket with their fantastic sauce. Both of us thought it was the best we’d ever had. For sides we got the potato salad and jalapeño creamed corn, also fantastic. We’ll definitely be making return trips to Tyler’s

I was in there today for the second time and talked with the manager. He said he has family members who have food allergies and understands how serious it can be to have celiac’s disease. I am allergic to wheat and milk and have eaten there twice and enjoyed it. Very good food!

I can't say enough about this place. All I had to do was say I had a celiac order and they immediately changed gloves, got out a clean board and knife, and pulled out fresh meat. They had no problem with it either. I am extremely sensitive so I usually just can't eat when we travel, Tyler's BBQ was like a gluten free oasis in the middle of the gluten desert!! The food was also really good, I got brisket with potato salad and jalapeño cream corn, OMG! And they gave my kids free stickers!!! Lol. I LOVE TYLERS BBQ!

Great ribs and brisket! When I told them I was celiac they changed their gloves, pulled out a separate cutting board and knife, and got out fresh meat for me. They had a great attitude about it all too. Cannot say enough about how great the ribs were, I highly recommend this place if your in the area!

Got sick within 10 minutes. I observed them taking good measures to ensure the food would be gluten free but unfortunately I got sick. I think it was the green chili stew but not positive.
All meat and sauce is gluten free (and delicious). The girl cutting the meat switched gloves and cutting board as soon as she heard I was celiac just in case someone had set bread on the other board previously!
