Working here on a travel contract and was pleasantly surprised that the rotisserie area where the daily specials are served frequently happen to be entirely gluten free. I only order when everything is gluten free to minimize cross contamination as they don't appear to take any precautions in that respect. I've watched them make ramen in a big pot when the rest of the meal is gluten free and witnessed the ramen water splash onto the items sitting below the pot waiting for their turn to saute. I've also noticed cous cous falling into the tatziki sauce when the chicken Tikka and rice special which is mostly GF is being served. So I stick with only eating when all the elements of the daily special is gluten free. In a pinch they also have a Amy's frozen GF lasagna that is sold by the checkout lanes. There's also some ok salads that I've ordered a couple times but they don't taste great and are questionable if they are cross contaminated depends on what other salads are also available that day for purchase. I'm usually pretty disappointed by hospital food as a celiac travel nurse but this place is better than most in that they have daily specials that 4 out of 7 days are entirely gluten free which is when I trust eating them. There are also packaged certified GF lemon bars and brownies which are rich and delicious!

I have a recently discovered gluten sensitivity. The rotisserie table at UC Davis is a dedicated gluten free area, it should be Celiac friendly however there is no mention of it anywhere I could find. I am not Celiac, but I was not glutened by the food here. In fact it was delicious.
