Upon first glance, I was a little unsure if the cafeteria did gluten free but asked and sure enough, they do! They have gluten free bread and pastries and a separate kitchen to prepare food if your celiac!
We've had over five days of meals as guests of a patient here and have been very pleased with them. Breakfast down in the cafeteria is very good, you tell them you are Celiac, they write down your order and cook it in their safe kitchen. It does vary depending on the chef but they have always been very nice and the food has been great. If you order off the patient menu and it isn't marked GF the staff is very knowledgeable and will check anything on the list. Our food has always been tasty, though they don't always get everything exactly how we order it, it has always been safe and GF. The cafeteria is much more limited than the patient menu but they all know what Celiac is and how to take the necessary precautions.
Depends who is working, sometimes it's a 5 star, others it's a 0. Gluten free/celiac kitchen space, staff is knowledgeable about food- but always ask; green chili is not safe, hash browns are cross contaminated but they can make a batch for you, etc. Beware of the horrible customer service! Sometimes they are great and sometimes they will straight up be total jerks.
