Excellent food in a fun pub-like atmosphere, with tonnes of gluten free options and a staff who clearly understand cross contamination. I had the chicken schnitzel, which comes with fries, vegetables, and salad. Free refills on vegetables and salad, and fries can be refilled for 1 €. Reservations definitely recommended any night of the week.

Always my go to for when I don't want to be worried about eating out. Been here a lot and have never had an reaction. The staff is friendly and there are a lot of options.

Uitgebreide gluten vrije kaart & over m'n koemelk intolerantie werd goed meegedacht. Was wat lastiger, maar alsnog keuze en heerlijk gegeten. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en meedenkend

Very nice gluten free food! There’s a seperate gluten free menu. We had the chicken burger and the kroket on gluten free bread. It was really great! The service too! Would definetly recommend going here🦦

Onlangs ontzettend fijn bij the ugly duck gegeten, genoeg keuze met betrekking tot glutenvrije gerechten en gelukkig ook nergens last van gehad! Zal hier zeker vaker naar toe gaan en het iedereen aanraden.

Great place to eat, friendly staff and good service. Being a coeliac and eating out is not always easy but this place was superb and I believe they make a point of offering a good selection of gluten free foods and appear to be known for this. As soon as I asked for gluten free options I was given a gluten free menu (in English) with many options to choose from and very reasonably priced. A personal highlight was also seeing three different dessert options. The lemon meringue was so lovely! They even had gluten free beer. Really liked the quirky duck theme too. They even gave our dog a bowl of water. Highly recommend paying this super place a visit.

Fijn plekje met uitgebreide kaart. Bediening lijkt goed op de hoogte. Helaas toch reactie, ben een volle dag ziek geweest. Bediening wist niet hoe het kon.

They have very good food and many choices for lunch and for dinner. They are also very flexible for my daughter to find something glutenfree and child friendly (e.g. a glutenfree broodje hagelslag)

Really good food at a typical Dutch restaurant. They have a regular menu and a gluten-free menu and they take measures to prevent gluten cross-contamination in the kitchen. This place is perfect for celiacs like me. On top of that, they are super caring about other food restrictions. Our waiter was extremely nice and tried to find solutions to make my food onion-free, garlic-free and lactose-free. I totally recommend this place to anyone living or passing by Groningen!

The food was lovely and I didn’t experience any symptoms of having eaten gluten. They were also very experienced with celiacs and knew much about cross contamination. Loved it!
