If you ask at the poke counter they have gluten free musubi in the back - that’s all I got because they said the poke and acai bowls would be cross contaminated. They also had packaged fruit/cheese hard boiled eggs and nuts etc. but I sought this place out for the gf musubi.
March 2022 update: for their grab and go items they don’t have gluten free muffins anymore. But I talked to a chef and they can do gluten free breakfast, lunch and dinner! So far I got the breakfast platter (eggs, potatoes made in a separate fryer and sausage), later I want to try the flatbread! They also have gluten free buns for burgers! Disney the best and safest place to eat on the island of Oahu for sure!!
March 2020: Really awesome place for snacks or breakfast!! They have gluten free muffins and flatbread! Good choice of healthy snacks like fruit too!
Updating to say, as of Feb 2022 they have discontinued the GF wrap and the GF muffins. So sad!!! You can get GF flatbread for pizzas, which are good. But I’m so bummed that the other delicious GF options are gone. — My favorites here are the breakfast burrito in a GF wrap and the poke bowls at lunch time. Udi’s muffins sealed in individual packages in the pastry case, and lots of GF snacks like chips and fruit.
This place had a great assortment of gluten free & dairy free snacks or meals for anytime of day. We grabbed something here several times for our daughter whether it was hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, gluten free muffin or she had a gluten free flatbread made. Lots of choices!
We ordered with staff and the manager was involved so we felt better. They assured us that they have a toaster that is shared but they cover it was foil and take precautions to make sure it doesn't touch other items.
We ordered the bbq pork kalua flatbread and the veggie/spinach flatbread for lunch one day. They took forever to come out of the oven but it was worth it and no one got sick. They tasted good and were flagged for allergies.
We stayed at Aulani and visited Ulu Cafe each morning for breakfast. We were a bit disappointed as we read reviews and thought there were more options, but my husband didn't feel comfortable eating off buffet. The Cafe Server said they can make GF bagel but use the same toaster and place some sort of barrier to protect from cross contamination, but my husband didn't want to risk it. We did find a chia seed coconut milk fruit parfait and it was delicious. We ate one each morning and added a bit of extra fruit we bought from outside the resort. He had no reaction. We also purchased 2 salads, the Caprese and Greek Salad from the Grab n Go coolers and no reaction to either item. They had one packaged Udi's Choc muffin but not many other options besides precut fruit and chips. The prepackaged salads and coconut milk parfait was safe and no reaction. Salads were $13 and same with parfait. A little over priced for amount you get, but expected at the resort. My husband also tried the Dole Whip and had non reaction. We would try it all again!
