Uncle D's Kauai

Uncle D’s is great barbecue! My daughter and I both have celiac. They have several GF options (no GF buns but you can have your barbecue served over kale and/or GF coleslaw). GF sides include coleslaw, baked beans, hummus & chips. All their rubs & sauces are GF. Their barbecue jackfruit is AMAZING!! They are very knowledgeable with celiac and cleaned the area before making our meal. Uncle D and staff were super friendly! Ate here twice and would have a 3rd if we had more time!

Great experience here. No GF menu but the owner is knowledgeable and guided me through what I could have. He also explained the cross contamination prevention steps they would take. Absolutely awesome barbecue - I got the pulled pork over mixed greens with a side of beans and chips. Don’t miss this spot!

Very good food. I had the pulled pork on a bed of kale and a side of baked beans. They were very knowledgeable about the products they served. They assured me everything was gluten free except the obvious, Mac and Cheese and buns for the sandwiches. He told us that the knives were for the buns only, and made me feel at ease about any possible cross contamination. This place was an amazing find! Don't let the disk golf on the outside of the building throw you off! It's also located in the very back corner of the mall.

Gluten free barbecue! Sauce is GF, most of the sides are GF (exception of Mac salad) and instead of a bun, they put it on a bed of kale.
