Tilapia with butter sauce is awesome. The food is served cafeteria style but they use a separate utensil for each item. Staff is well versed in which items are GF. We ate here before going GF as we live about 20 minutes away. You just have to skip the garlic bread or cornbread offer and the desserts.
We were passing through town when I saw this Cajun Restaurant and we stopped. I actually am highly sensitive to gluten but also have Casein (dairy), Soy and Beef Allergies. The cook came out and told me exactly what I could safely eat. I grew up in Mississippi and went to Louisiana to see family frequently and this was great. I had the Boudin, Crawfish Etoufe, Red Beans and Rice, peas and stuffed eggs. The Etoufe was different from what I'm used to but delicious. The Red Beans and Rice were the best and everything was great. We will be passing through again on Saturday and already planning to stop for lunch.
Our favorite go-to restaurant (the reviews don't lie) with gluten free options. The food is great and the service is the BEST in town. Uncle Mick will serve you and answer all your questions.
