The owner is great and they have a great little selection. My daughter (who has celiac) really likes their pizza (it is clear cauliflower crust though so not the same a regular pizza but a great alternative) and the chicken bites are great. My husband and I (who aren’t GF) love their flatbreads too!
I had the Buffalo chicken bites and one of their pizzas. The chicken was tender yet crunchy and the pizza had a really good texture. Even my non gf friend enjoyed the veggie burger and said that the buns had a good texture. I will definitely be ordering from them again!
Uncle Skippy's Kitchen is a small takeout location that opened recently and is dedicated gluten-free.
The owners wife has celiac and has been cooking for her for years. The facility is dedicated gluten-free (and I believe dedicated nut-free.)
The cook will do his best to accommodate for those who eat Kosher as well!
Delicious pizza and meatballs! My daughter said it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had! We absolutely love Uncle Skippy’s! Where else can I get amazing pizza in a dedicated gluten free kitchen with a chef who’s super knowledgeable. I loved the buffalo bites too. We are repeat customers who are so thankful.
USK is a gluten and nut free restaurant: salads, soup, chili, sandwiches, pizza and flatbread pizzas. The food is tasty and safe. The sandwich rolls are from Two Fields Bakeshop in Berkeley Heights which uses xantham gum in case you’re gum sensitive. I’m not sure where the rest of the baked goods come from. I’m so glad to have a safe place to order from.
