Not at all safe!!!! Beware of it!!! They cook the rice noodles in the same place and water that they cook the other noodles. 3 times to this location and 2 times to the other one. And all of the times I got sick (as they were telling me that it was safe, I though it may have been me or that I ate somewhere else, until one day the cooker confirmed to me that they are boiled in same water!!!)
The summer rolls (+ peanut sauce) are GF and delicious. They do NOT have GF soy sauce. Since some dishes can be designed by yourself, they can be made GF (for example curry, rice noodle pot etc.). It’s advisable to inform the staff about your celiac disease or wheat allergy though so that they don’t add fried onions as a topping!
I could see great reviews about GF options on the Google reviews and so decided to give this place a try. I’m so glad I did. We ordered a stir fry noodles with chicken and a noodle salad with beef. Loads of options could be GF, coeliac safe and the staff were very helpful. I would readily return for affordable, tasty and high quality meals.
The majority of the menu is GF. This venue allows you to make your own bowl and provides a lot of options for GF combinations. The owner was very careful to work with me (despite my limited German) to ensure that I got a safe meal. A few sauces do have soy sauce with gluten. I have celiac and had no reaction after 2 meals here. This fresh, light fare is a nice bit of variety in Austria.
