I have eaten here for a while, and have felt safe as a celiac. However, last fall they had switched the labeling on a burger that I had ordered, and wrote GF on my partners fried chicken sandwich. I took 2 bites and noticed the bun seemed different. Always a risk eating as a celiac when there is gluten in the kitchen! Paid for the mistake for about 2 months of recovery. They are knowledgeable and working hard to serve celiac community, but this really stunk!

I don’t understand the positive reviews. I went in yesterday and saw the line cooks holding a bun in one hand, pick up a burger, put it on the bun and then reach into the shared toppings containers with the same hand and place them on the burger. One of the waiters moved a burger on a plate by picking it up by the bun and then touched all of the fry orders in waiting with the same hands. The food looked great but there was cross contamination all over the place. It’s a shame because it has so much potential.

They may be able to accommodate you if they are not busy but if there are others in line I’d avoid this place at all costs. I ended up only being able to order fries (no burger because they informed me that when they’re busy there are ‘buns everywhere’ on the griddle). And the n my order never came out and I had to cancel my order and ask for a refund. Do not recommend.

Great burger and fries! All the sides are gluten free and the burger was delicious. It looked like an Udi’s bun but I’m not sure, either way it was great.

Delicious GF burger with so many options. Separate fryer so fries and ONION RINGS are GF. Fun restaurant and great staff. Would definitely eat here again. Did not get sick.

All the fryers are GF! Sweet potato fries, onion rings, and tempura vegetable (selection in rotation) are all GF and good. Their GF buns are a good kind that holds up well to the chunky burgers. This place sources their meats carefully and it shows in the flavor (and the price 🤷♀ but it's worth it) I love Uneeda!

Incredible food and amazingly savvy when it comes to GF. Dedicated fryers for onion rings and fries.

Had the classic burger on GF bun, was yummy and pretty quick!

So many options - one of the few places where everything in the fryer is GF (onion rings, fries, sweet potato fries, etc) AND you have multiple choices for the burger! I think they used to only say their fries were in a dedicated fryer, but now EVERYTHING in the fryer is (even the “special”, fried green beans, were safe!).

I’m lucky to live a few blocks from here. Gluten free buns. Dedicated fryer. The food is always correct and marked gf. I highly recommend the bison burger!

Went with some friends, none of who have celiacs. They were very clear about what is and isn't gluten free, were confident in their answers. I ordered the philly on a GF bun and the sweet potato fries - the person taking our order warned me the sweet potato fries were tossed in cornstarch before frying s they might look coated but that the coating was GF.
Everything was delicious and I had no reaction or issues afterwards!

i’ve eaten here several times with no reaction. I called before hand and they mentioned that the new manager has celiacs and the entire staff is well trained in what that means & what precautions need to be taken.

I’ve eaten here twice. No reaction either time. They’re great about taking precautions and communicating that they’re doing so. Also, super tasty!

Dedicated fryer for sweet potato and regular potato fries! Gluten-free buns.

Great burgers. Gf buns or lettuce wrap. Dedicated fryer so you can even have fries. Friendly staff
Yes
Delicious and friendly but not celiac friendly. Too much cross contamination.
No
Best customer service I have ever had. Awesome people. Great location. The food is epic. Be prepared, fries and such are sold separately.
Yes
GF buns and GF chili all really good food. Beware cross contamination
No
The best burger!!! I could eat here every day :)
Ok burger with a GF bun. They get less stars as there is nothing else GF on the menu. Wish the fries were in a separate fryer instead of contaminated.
Uneeda Burger is the perfect spot in the summer for that casual backyard feel; sitting at a picnic table on an open deck sipping on a float or milkshake, but when you don't want to cook or clean up. Gluten-free friendly, just add $2 for a gluten-free bun that tastes good and holds up to to the burger and toppings. Just decide on locally sourced beef, chicken breast or veggie patty, then, the harder decisions begin - the toppings. Ranging from caramelized onions to truffled shoestring potatoes, just double check which toppings do not contain gluten from beer or flour.
Very good burgers, but definitely not one dollar sign. Pretty expensive, but worth it if want a delicious burger
Yes
Great burgers and GF buns. Highly recommended
these are some of the best burgers around and staff is knowledgable. Fries are NOT gf but they have an outta this worl potato salad that is. Shakes are diving!
They were VERY accommodating of my gf needs and it's great that they have a gf bun but I still got sick after having one of their burgers. They did warn me that the burgers are cooked on the same grill as their buns and I took the chance. I would say if you're not super sensitive give them a try.
