Great food better vibes. Went for brunch after Unbound so it was busy but food came quickly. Wait staff was knowledgeable, had the Chilaquiles with two eggs.

I have not eaten here yet, but while planning a trip to Emporia, I reached out to the owner to ask about GF options and was very impressed with her response:

“We do have a dedicated gluten-free fryer, however, because we are breading chicken in that area of the kitchen, any fried items might have a higher probability of cross contamination. We are very conscious of all allergies in our kitchen and we are religious about changing gloves, cutting boards and knives during service. We do all of our baking and dredges in a separate room away from the service line. We offer gluten free buns, and gluten free flatbread, so we can substitute any of the fried items or bread items with those. I didn't include the pasta, however we have modified that a few times for customers using rice as a base or with extra veggies and shrimp. We can also saute Brussels sprouts in a dedicated pan, if you would like that as an option instead of fried sprouts or fried potatoes. All of our dressings are gluten-free except for the Caesar which contains Worcestershire sauce. The soup of the day may or may not be GF, depending on what we are serving that day.”

She also sent me a copy of their menu with GF options highlighted. I had to cancel our trip, but I am so excited to eat here the next time we visit!
