They do have gluten free pizza as well as a chicken dish. If you are dairy free you are out of luck with the pizza- no daiya cheese. My personal pizza without cheese had three pieces of dried pepper a couple of tomatoes a couple of mushrooms. I only ate one piece it to keep company with my friends . took it home and pitched it. Sauce might have helped to keep it moist. Perhaps the chicken ?
Their gluten free pizza was real delicious and the brought my pizza first so that they would cross contaminate. Our waiter was good he came to the table frequently to make sure everything was ok, even the manager came to our table too. We had a good time
Best pizza .. Awsome !
Decided to give Uno's a try after seeing their GF menu online. Fair number of choices available and food was good overall. One big mistake was made when one of us got our salad. You could see specks of croutons on it, but luckily we caught it before it was eaten. To their credit, the manager took charge of the situation and ensured the dinners were safe to eat. He did a great job. Overall we'd recommend this restaurant but would probably go somewhere like Not Your Average Joes if given the option.
Had gf pizza and it was great. The base was from Venice Bakery and was really good, not dry at all. Pizza is cooked on a different shelf in the oven and and served separately from the non gf good ordered. Waiter was very helpful and pleasant. GF beer also available (Redbridge)
Pizza not celiac safe - asked waiter if it is made on the same surfaces and he said yes but it "can't make you sick because it's too hot of a surface that it kills the gluten" .... needless to say, didn't order the pizza. Waiter was rude and didn't have the time of day to speak with me about my order, so ended up ordering a basic salad. Only reason this has 2 stars is because they did have a gluten free beer.
I have a gluten intolerance. I ordered the gluten free pizza with hesitation. I told the waitress that all the other pizzas I've eaten are always hard. I haven't had a pizza in 2 years! This pizza was well worth the trip!! I had the veggie (mushrooms, gr pepper, onion, cheese). The only thing I'll change next time is, ask if I could add spinach and get extra cheese. We will definitely be back.
Amazing gluten free pizza crust. They changed the crust and it is thick and buttery. This is the best gf pizza I have had for a restaurant.
Uno is one of my "go-to" spots for gf food. I've had wonderful interactions w/ servicers & shift managers clarifying my allergies all while working with the chef. They've even made up special "off menu" items for me. Pretty much eat there 2x a month because I trust them so much. Plus, it's very good!
OMG they have changed the crust. It's REAL pizza. So so good!
They have many great GF options! We love their GF burgers & their loaded potatoes are yummy! They are knowledgeable about food allergies & were able to accommodate our multiple food allergies.
Amazing service and amazing food! We have a dairy-free, soy-free, gluten conscious toddler. They were willing to review the menu for all allergens and custom prepare an entree for her (baked salmon, olive oil sautéed vegetables). Top notch service! Surprised they don't have gluten-free pasta...
Changed the pizza and it's amazingly yummy. Crust too!
staff was very knowledgeable and manager brought out my food separately, but i am definitely sick!
They have changed their crust since a few years ago and it's toothsome and satisfying! They only offer a pepperoni, cheese or veggie standard but you could probably talk them into something else. Got delivery and it was less than hot, but a lot of delivery is.
Best GF pizza yet! Seemed like a deep dish. I've had other gf pizza at UNOs in D.C. But this one is better. I am very selective where I eat out and have never had a problem with UNOs GF pizza. I feel normal to have pizza when the family is having their own regular pizza.
I keep reading these reviews saying how the manager takes their meal out to them and that they have separate this and separate that in the kitchen!! First of all are you in the kitchen to see it and I have been to different Uno locations and not once has a manager brought me my food and checked on me! I'm not saying that the food isn't good it is I'm just saying some of these reviews sound fishy to me!! Are they real!??? Just a thought!
