Don’t go off menu if you are celiac. They are only able to give you what they have on that menu as gluten-free. I have been many times and any time I try to add something or want to swap something for another item. The staff has said they can’t confirm that the replacement item is not contaminated. They have changed the gf pizza and it’s much better than before. They do not have a separate oven, but have something to put the pizza on for celiacs. If you tell the staff you prefer gluten free your order will not be treated the same way if you tell them you have a serious gluten allergy.
Nice varied menu including a burger with GF bread. The pizza is good as well.
I was thrilled to see they had a gluten-free menu and even more thrilled at their flexibility with their promotion at the time - pick 2 for $6/each. They accommodated my gluten allergy and allowed me to get the gluten-free pizza instead of the regular pizza they had in their promotion. They made sure my food was prepared without cross contamination and it was a wonderful meal. Highly recommend going to UNOs if you have a gluten allergy.
My daughter has celiac disease so eating gluten free is very important. UNOs always does a fantastic job with cross contamination and making sure her food is prepared properly. They have no option for gluten free pizza on their kids menu but if your child orders a make your own gluten free pizza UNOs will only Hargreaves you the kids menu price which I find fantastic. Gluten free items are always so much more expensive having a company that WILLINGLY charges you less is wonderful. However even if you buy a gf pizza to go their prices are still decent. No huge mark up just because it's GF. For this reason we seek out UNOs restaurants while out with the family. The are kind and understandings and my daughter doesn't feel completely different and doesn't have to eat grilled chicken or a naked cheeseburger all the time.
I had a super great experience here! The pizza was heavenly, I didn't get sick and the staff was great. I ordered from the phone and requested the staff take great care with my order and they assured me that they will do their best, but there is always a risk. I took the chance and did not end up getting sick, and am very sensitive. I ordered a bianca pizza (no sauce) and a onion and bacon pizza for my partner who is not gluten free. He also very much enjoyed the pizza and we were raving about how delicious it was. It's a bit of a drive for me but I will definitely be back here. SEPERATE CUTTER AND STATION FOR GLUTEN FREE. Gluten free section on online menu. Desserts available. Very great price too.
Extremely hit or miss safety wise. I would say that I get glutened about 50% of the time. I’ve been 5 ish times in the last year. The quality of the place has dropped off significantly since covid. The only gluten free options that they have at this point is 3ish kinds of pizza. The best gluten free crust around, but unfortunately I’m going to have to stop going because they can’t seem to get it together and keep things safe for people with celiac.
