My husband has celiacs and they had a gluten free menu but most of the items on the menu are not actually gluten free. The fryers are not separate so even the tortilla chips and wings are contaminated. He ended up just having a salad. The view of the water is nice and the drinks are good but not a place you want to go for a meal if you have celiacs.
Not sure what happened but the restaurant had very few gluten free options. Crab cakes are not gluten free . No gluten free pasta, bread or rolls. We decided not to stay.
We have been going here for years. Several people in our family have celiac disease and none of us have ever had a reaction after eating here. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and they have a wide variety of dishes that they can make gluten free. The mushroom soup is a favorite! They just recently added gluten free crab cakes to the menu, and they are delicious!
The food is incredibly delicious, and I've never had a gluten reaction. All GF foods are labelled on the menu, and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It's my favorite restaurant.
