Review of UpRising Bakery and Cafe

Awful experience. Line was out the door which that’s fine. We ended up ordering online. We figured we would wait in the line since by time the food was done (half hour) we would be in the front anyways. However we were in line 30 mins and not even close to the front of line. So I went to the cashier and said we ordered online. She looked at me like as to say wait in line. I then continued and said i order online and clearly am not going to wait an hour in line to get up here to just get my order. She said when it’s ready it would be out. Im like great but come out where. Then she said the kitchen would announce it… so I said so they are going to yell out my name…? She had the deer in headlight look. Another worker came over and asked me what’s up and I said I’m just trying to get my order. She asked my name and then said yes it’s been done long time I’ll go get it.

We were told half hour and even picked it up five mins early. There was no way this food was done even close to that mark as it was completely cold. We couldn’t even eat it. And to battle with the workers or wait in an over an hour line to complain. No thanks.

Everyone said place was dedicated gluten free as well. Yet when we got in there were two treat containers and one container said gluten free but not the other . I asked saying I thought everything was gluten free and and she said yes. I am like so again everything we got is gluten free. She again said yes. However god told me not to eat the treats we got. I went home and tested the treats and sure enough my sensor said contained wheat.

NOT good experience and NOT good food…. No no way!!!
