Update We recently dined at Uprooted again and they no longer have a gluten free menu. The regular menu just contains the following statement; “We Offer Gluten Free Buns, Cauliflower Crust, Bread, Wraps & Pasta”

They have a separate GF menu that has a variety of options. I ordered the chicken caprese sandwich and it was served on an Udi’s bun and it was very tasty. The sandwich was served with fries and coleslaw. The fries are made in a dedicated fryer.

The only thing that throws a red flag for me is that their menu is labeled “Gluten Friendly” as opposed to “Gluten Free”. Based on that, I’m not 100% confident that the kitchen is celiac safe. We had a good experience at Uprooted and we plan to dine their again. The next time I am there, I plan to ask more questions about the kitchen and prep areas just to ease my concerns.
