The best gluten free pancakes ever! You could easily pass them off as containing gluten. The waiter makes the ticket as an allergy, the pancakes came out marked with a toothpick and were cooked separate from everything else. The green apple, chicken, fennel sausage was wonderful and the hash browns were tasty as well. Our server, Zachary, was amazing, very patient and knew a lot about food allergies. He went back to the kitchen to ask about ingredients in items multiple times. The fact that they source so many of their items locally added to the quality and freshness of the food.
The best gluten free pancakes! Love the blueberry streusel!! Staff are awesome as well. I eat here every time I am in Denver ❤️
An incredible find! Super happy with the variaty of very tasty gf pancakes and I didn't have a reaction. Kind and knowledgable staff!
OMG. The GF Colorado blueberry streusel pancakes were easily the best pancakes I've ever had in my entire life, gluten free or otherwise.
The food was good, but there was also some cross-contamination. We told the waiter about being Celiac and he said they had a separate prep area and were knowledgable, but cross-contamination occurred for sure! Pancakes are NOT safe here.
Gluten free options are good, liked the cinnamon pancakes. Recommend to anyone with celiac, really good service and really good gluten free food. Didn’t get cross contaminated and they are very aware with food allergies and people with celiac
Love this place! Delicious gluten free breakfast options.
Not sure of all the high ratings. My breakfast pancakes tasted like chemicals. Not healthy or good. Would not eat here again .
This restaurant is so good! The staff is very knowledgeable of gluten allergies.
Fantastic everything - food and service rocked!! So good!
Wonderful delicious celiac friendly food!!
My daughter and I both have Celiac. They had several gluten free options and designated area for prep and cooking. The food was average, a little disappointed. But we didn't get sick, so that's awesome! Free parking in garage next door. Pet friendly outside patio. Had a 30 minute wait at 10:00 am.
It's a grrat alternative to Snooze. Their burritos are badass and they're very accommodating for celiac. Only down side is that the burritos aren't gluten free.
amazing options and pancakes!!
Good selection but food has no taste. I ordered the breakfast tacos. Not sure I would come out of my way to eat here.
Can't say enough about this place. Great food, great service, very knowledgeable on GF. My celiac son loves it.
Nice selection of gluten free eats and gf bread!
GF meal was cold and was sent back to kitchen.
Grat breakfast tacos!
Had to have them double check to make sure the pancakes were gluten free. Tasted too good to be true, but they are gluten free.
Really good food and drinks. They were able to accommodate both my lactose and gluten allergy.
The best GF eggs Benedict in Denver! Well worth the drive from broomfield and they are going to have more locations in the future. Very safe, and the staff take care of you!
It was ok. Inflexible... Wouldn't even make a kids burger and didn't have one on menu. Child with dairy allergy could order nothing off menu. Eye-rolling, unkind waitress and very marginal food. You can do better in highlands ranch!
I love this place! I've eaten here three times, and have never gotten sick. Omelettes are delicious, and so are the pancakes!
Amazing! GF pancakes, pancake flight, eggs Benedict, and a Bloody Mary bar!
Delicious food, large Celiac friendly menu, knowledgeable, friendly, super waitstaff, good prices.
Wasn't worth the drive. I drove from the north side of Denver to enjoy this GF breakfast that has been raved about. Bad news. The hash browns and bacon was cold and the huge (I liked this) pancakes were Luke warm at best. Took awhile for the butter to melt. If I have the chance again, I'm going to OPH instead. It's not much further away.
Simply amazing! Best breakfast experience since our son's celiac diagnosis. Samantha, our server, was amazing! She was very well informed about celiac disease and treated us wonderfully. Lots of great tasting gluten free options. Coming back again on our next visit to beautiful Colorado!
I can't say enough how good their food was. I had the cinnamon swirl, blueberry streusel and Hawaiian pancakes that were amazing. I had 3 eggs your style and 3 egg omelet that were also really good.
If you could only hear me sing for joy how nice it is to FINALLY FINALLY have a breakfast place to eat GF Celiac safe delicious pancakes!! A dedicated griddle !!!! Wooooo- hoooo!!!And if you can't decide which flavor to try- you can order a "flight" and try 3 different kinds!!! I will be back again and again and again!!!
I have had 2 meals at Urban Egg in 3 days. Very good gluten free pancakes, cinnamon. wonderful gf omelets too. good service, great food! They do not have a dedicated g.f. kitchen.
Eggs Benedict is really to die for!
Amazing. Out of buns but they knew how to accommodate. Delicious. Great bar tender too.
this is my favorite place for breakfast. they understand celiac and have never made me sick. the food is fantastic and so is the service. highly recommend
Love this place!!!!!! Very knowledgable, great food!!
LOVE this place!! I am extremely gluten sensitive and I've never had any problems. Their staffs is super knowledgeable and well trained. It's amazing to feel so safe with what I order. Their breakfast tacos are great and their Green with Envy juice is yummy.
Oh my word! Gluten Free Eggs Benedict Ya'll! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 LOVE LOVE The Urban Egg! The atmosphere was awesome and they had this beat Wishing Wall in the bathroom! So many wishes! The Coffee rocked too! Just LOVE! Felt very spoiled here!
Food was average. Staff understood GF. Service slow. Had to ask to be waited on and my check.
Very aware of cross contamination and celiac. Terrific service, very helpful. Amazing southwest eggs Benedict on a tamale.
Wonderful Eggs Benedict GF!!! Yummy. Eager to repeat.
Awesome food. Very knowledgeable staff.
I really love this place. They are very helpful for gluten allergies. Great gf English muffins and yummy huevos rancheros! Not fond of a couple new waitresses there, but otherwise really nice place for breakfast.
Had the most wonderful pancakes in a gluten free friendly eatery. My daughters, both gf loved their chocolate chip pancakes.
They had several gluten free options. I don't do good with GF bread so I had the eggs Benedict over potatoes. It was fantastic and I didn't get sick!
Staff was very friendly, food was delicious. I had a flight of 3 different flavor pancakes, but they have a nice selection includingd GF eggs Benedict.
It was their first full day open for breakfast. Excellent and really friendly service, wide variety of gluten-free choices, excellent food. Tuscan eggs Benedict (GF hollandaise and muffin), Blueberry pancakes and omelette were great. Definitely returning...
* new location * I was super nervous to come here as I know there’s gluten present in their kitchen. I told the server I had celiac and just ordered the GF English muffin (delish), a fried egg & OJ. She talked to the cooks who said it’s pretty easy to keep from cross contamination unless it’s one of the “GF” pancakes. So I was sure to avoid those. Thankfully I didn’t get sick & maybe I’ll try more next time!
Lots of choices! They have great pancakes, and unlike some places that just put stuff on top of the pancakes, they really make them. My daughter had cinnamon swirl pancakes that were beautiful and tasted like a cinnamon roll. I had pineapple pancakes and the loaded hash browns. Everything was super yummy, portions were large, and wait staff was very accommodating.
I ordered gluten free pancakes, and was very explicit about needing them to be gluten free. The server even repeated the order back to me. However, after eating 2 pancakes, the check came and I was not charged for gluten free. Turns out the pancakes were not gluten free. The manager was apologetic, and gave me the food (which I can't eat) for free. He also told me to let him know if I have a severe reaction. I have a very bad wheat allergy, and have gone to the ER before from it. Luckily I took a 24 hour antihistamine before going to the restaurant (I always take one before going out to eat). I also took a benadryl right after I found out. I will not be going back to this restaurant, and do not recommend it for anyone with celiac or a food allergy. I would give 0 stars if I could.
This place is the bomb, they have any pancakes you want. They are GF friendly and they have the GF on the menu. Makes it easier to order. I hate when I have to ask for a GF menu. it's usually a card, ugh!! I have eaten here and never had a reaction. Great staff as well.
My non celiac friends love going here. I have had a negative reaction (celiac) to the gluten free options 3 out of the 5 times I ate here. Each time I spoke to the manger to be sure the order I placed was optimally gluten free. I can not eat at Over Easy.
We ate here at about 9:30am on Monday and it was packed! But we had great service. Rachel was our server and seemed very knowledgeable about keeping our Celiac family safe. My main question is whether the GF pancakes are cooked on a dedicated portion of the griddle and they are! Yahoo! Both of our kids got the chocolate chip pancakes (kid sized) and loved them. I had the quinoa in coconut milk and it was about my favorite breakfast I've ever had - now I'm on a mission to recreate it at home. Our server marked our ticket as the requisite "allergy," and told me the cooks would change gloves for our order. All in all I'd highly recommend it!
I have Celiacs and had a great experience here. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and careful. I had their eggs benedict on a gluten free english muffin, which was excellent. My non-celiac family really enjoyed their meals as well and my mom even enjoyed the gluten free english muffin she ordered. The english muffin is not the exact same as a gluteny one but still very good. They had a decent selection of gluten free offerings. Overall a good experience.
I had a gluten free muffins classic eggs benedict. The wife had a traditional muffin. The muffin was very good. but we both felt they skimped on hollandaise sauce. Also, the hollandaise lacked tang. We both had poached eggs that were cooked a bit too long, there was hardly any runny part. My plate had less hash browns than hers. There's a pokestop nearby ;-)
The other reviews lead us to this place, few clarifications. Only the pancakes, eggs and hash browns and English muffin are gluten free and you have to pay more for that option. Gre as the food and service just wish I had known about the price difference and that they didn't have gf bread/rolls ( I was excited for French toast) . I will go back again.
