Where to start with Utter Waffle? The restaurant is cute, the waffles are outstanding, and it’s 100% gluten free (in the past they had Biscoff cookies that were handled totally separately, but they seem to have removed that topping from the kitchen). Their waffles absolutely do not taste gluten free; this is a place where you won’t feel like you’re compromising on taste or quality.

My go-to is the James, Jules, and the Giant Peach. I only got that for a number of years. It was shocking to me when I learned the menu went beyond that.. but the chicken and waffles are wonderful as are the halloumi fries. 15/10 this is a required stop on any London itinerary.

Very nice place with courteous staff. Saw it in a reel on Instagram and the address immediately went on my London trip list. Was asked about food allergies when ordering and when I said with a wink that I am celiac, the waitress laughed and said that I would certainly not have any problems here. Had The Wafflin' Chicken (delicious!) and The G.O.A.T (wonderful!). Unfortunately we only made it there once in one week because we had so many other restaurants and cafes on the list. Will definitely stop by there again next time.

Great little place, lots of seats but suggest booking as it’s very popular. Had a savory chicken & waffle and it was delicious. I felt at ease knowing I could eat both and the rest of the menu without fear and I’m coeliac. Love it and I’m immensely thankful to Utter Waffle for being there. Will be back! (Also looking forward to have my sweet waffle takeaway later).

Totally gluten free as of my last visit (previously one it two items had a one ingredient that wasn’t gf but these seem to have been removed with a menu change). Overheard other waiters ask about allergies anyway though ours did not on this occasion. I’ve been loads of times and no issues ever as a coeliac. The food itself is delicious and doesn’t feel ‘gluten free’ - just a normal restaurant with great food!

Can I give this place more than 5 stars? Unbelievable food, so safe, and did I mention the food 🤤🤤🤤🤤 the savory waffles are mind blowing and the fried chicken is perfection. As my husband said, if we’d known about this place before you got diagnosed, we’d have been crushed if we couldn’t keep going because it’s legitamitely some of the best food (gf or non gf) around.

Delicious waffles and a great brunch or lunch spot. Enjoyed the food and the owner is celiac so she understands food safety. Everything on the menu is gluten free and everything we tried was yummy!

We had a very delicious lunch, especially the hot honey sauce. Almost everything is glutenfree and they are careful with cross contamination. A must visit when you're in London!

My favourite restaurant/ takeaway place at the moment. I’ve probably tried everything on the menu and it’s just lovely . 95% of the menu is GF and the staff is super knowledgable about CD. The stuffed savoury waffles are to die for!! And the sweet ones are just the cherry on top of the cake.
