De Live Cooking Brunch vandaag was heerlijk. Een kok gaf een rondleiding waarbij aangegeven werd wat glutenvrij was. Tevens werd aangegeven dat glutenvrij brood, frikadel, kroket en kipnuggets voor ons zoontje gebracht konden worden. Top! Ook kreeg hij een apart gemaakt glutenvrij dessert, hoewel veel van wat je kon pakken reeds glutenvrij was.

Eng: Just outside bird park Avifauna is the possibility to have a delicious lunch or dinner; also gluten-free! At this restaurant we had a delicious gluten-free dinner. There were many possibilities. They were not indicated on the menu, but the staff was helpful and patient with all our questions. When in doubt, inquiries were made in the kitchen. In the end, almost all of us were able to order what we wanted. Only the asparagus soup had a binder with gluten and the pepper sauce with the steak contained gluten.

Unfortunately, in addition to all the positivity about the starter and main course, we had an experience that could have turned out bad with the dessert. Underneath the Dame Blanche were crumbs. Fortunately, we had spotted this in time and returned the plate. Only when I was given a new plate, there was no explanation and no apology. So in the end our positive dinner still had a negative aftertaste. —

NL: Vlak buiten het vogelpark Avifauna is de mogelijkheid om heerlijk (uitgebreid) te lunchen of dineren; ook glutenvrij! Bij dit restaurant hebben we heerlijk glutenvrij gedineerd. Er waren veel mogelijkheden. Die stonden niet aangegeven op de kaart, maar het personeel was behulpzaam en geduldig met al onze vragen. Bij twijfel werd er navraag gedaan in de keuken. Uiteindelijk konden we bijna allemaal bestellen wat we wilden. Alleen de aspergesoep had een bindmiddel met gluten en de pepersaus bij de biefstuk bevatte gluten.

Helaas hadden we, naast alle positiviteit over het voor- en hoofdgerecht, een ervaring die vervelend had kunnen aflopen bij het nagerecht. Onder de Dame Blanche lagen kruimels. Gelukkig hadden we dit op tijd gespot en het bord teruggestuurd. Alleen toen ik een nieuw bord kreeg, kwam er geen uitleg en geen excuses. Dus uiteindelijk had ons positieve diner toch een negatief nasmaakje.
